Course Length: 8 hours
This introductory course covers time sensitive, life threatening priorities. Skills include: Choking, AED (Automated External Defibrillator) training, CPR for adults, children and infants; treatments for severe bleeding, EMS system, treatment of shock and how to perform a secondary assessment.
This course is required under WSIB regulation 1101 for all workplaces employing not more than 5 workers.

Standard First Aid

Course length: 16 hours
A comprehensive course covering all the skills taught in Emergency First Aid plus: musculoskeletal, soft tissue and head and spine injuries: heat and cold emergencies; poisonings; and sudden medical conditions such as diabetic emergencies and convulsions.
This course is required under WSIB regulation 1101 for all workplaces employing 5-200 workers.
